Description
In this module, the basics of flowsheeting are taught such as sources, sinks, units, ports and connections. The importance of selecting the right thermodynamic and physical properties is discussed, as are the role of recycles and ways of debugging a flowsheet.

Learning outcomes
At the end of this module, students should have a basic understanding of what a flowsheet is, how to build one in general, the importance of selecting the right thermodynamic and physical property methods and how to debug a flowsheet.
